Banner Maintenance Planned for Friday, Feb 3 (Posted )

 Starting at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb 3, Banner will be taken offline for routine maintenance.  Service is expected to be restored by 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, Feb 4.  Services unavailable during the maintenance period include:

  • Banner
  • Banner-related products (Self-Service web sites, SCT Datamarts)
  • Document Management (Singularity Capture lookup)
  • Oracle databases (including support for Reed web sites accessing Banner/Oracle data)
  • ID card printing and replacement

If your office has planned activities which may be interrupted by this maintenance downtime, please contact Jonathan Byrd (email: byrdj@reed.edu) as soon as possible.

 webmail.reed.edu logins better

It seems as though the authentication errors users were sometimes getting at webmail.reed.edu have stopped.

If you get this error, try logging in again or clearing browser caches.

 webmail.reed.edu: intermittent login issues

Some users are receiving a message of "athentication failed" when logging in to Webmail, even though they type their username and password correctly. Technical staff are working on the problem. We do not yet know how long the system will be affected. Updates will be posted as soon as more information is available.
